It is not uncommon to feel isolated and alone in business, trapped in the day-to-day grind with no blue sky in sight. We know that when it comes to making decisions, dealing with staff, or setting goals and strategic directions, sometimes it really helps to have a 'sounding board'.

Your business is probably your most important investment. With proper planning and execution, your business can provide you with a commercially competitive income, dividends to enhance your lifestyle and a nest egg for your future.

Running a business requires determination and the ability to juggle many tasks simultaneously. Sometimes it is possible to lose sight of the bigger picture and when this occurs, the business becomes less effective, less overworked and require the services of a business coach profitable and much harder to control.

Quantum Point operates on a simple philosophy. That is, we believe that a business should be built as if it were being prepared for sale even if you are not intending to sell it. A sale ready business is one that is operating at its peak and that;

  • is systemised and documented
  • is not dependent on specific people
  • has the ability to attract and keep suitable staff
  • has a good culture
  • is capable of attracting new business
  • knows how to efficiently sell their product or service
  • has an excellent track record of customer service
  • has growth and/or expansion opportunities, and,
  • is financially sound.

How a Business Coach Works

Step One

Your business coach needs to understand how your business currently works. Over one or two sessions, we will discuss your sales, marketing, people, administration, finance, growth potential and systems. Following these sessions, we will have a look at the areas of the business that need the most immediate attention.

Step Two

Your business coach will meet with you on a weekly or fortnightly basis. During these sessions, we will focus on what needs to be done to rectify particular issues in the business. We will also discuss what resources will be required to rectify the issue and create a list of items to be actioned within a specific time frame and in a sensible order. Your business coach will be included as a resource available to your business.

Step Three

As well as reacting to pressing issues, we will begin talking to you about the future of the business as well as your personal goals. For your business to be successful, it must get you closer to your personal goals. Your business coach will ensure that you keep your eye on the bigger picture.

Step Four

Your business coach will use their skills and get directly involved in your business, and become a resource available to you.

Step Five

Your business coach will assist you to make decisions that are more positive. Having someone who understands your position and understands the pressure you are under can be important when a critical decision needs to be made. Think of your business coach as a part time, executive level partner with you.

Ensuring that organisational culture is as distinctive and consistent as a suite of well-designed stationery is a challenge most companies have yet to conquer.

Some would say it is a greatest mistake of all to do nothing - because you can only do little. But first you must know to which direction you are headed, so you can catch the right wind to get you there.
